Abstract

|
In general, intestinal tuberculosis is a secondary infection from swallowing of infected sputum of pulmonary tuberculosis patient.
Intestinal tuberculosis is very rare in pediatric age and diagnosis is very difficult because of vague clinical symptoms and physical findings. There are many complications including gastrointestinal obstruction, intestinal perforation, fistula formation, gastrointestinal bleeding and intussusceptions, very rarely.
We experienced a case of intestinal tuberculosis associated with intussusceptions and reviewed with literature.
